Best Time to Visit
May to October, during the cool dry season with clear skies and prime wildlife viewing. Rainy season: November to April, with occasional showers and dramatic desert skies—best for photography and birdlife. Dry season: May to October, when roads are easily passable and temperatures are most comfortable. Temperatures range from 22–31°C (72–88°F), with chilly desert nights from June to August dropping below 7°C (45°F) in some areas.
