Its cottages and safari tents are set in lush gardens, each with a private deck to enjoy sweeping views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Interiors are bright and welcoming, with natural materials and comfortable furnishings creating a relaxed atmosphere. The lodge is well placed for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, as well as visits to nearby crater lakes and local villages. Between activities, guests can swim in the infinity pool, enjoy a drink by the fire, or simply watch the changing colours over the water from their deck. For honeymooners, Crater Safari Lodge offers a peaceful base with a mix of adventure and seclusion.
